This month, we’ll show you where and how to celebrate National Yoga Awareness Month in the Lake Lanier area. The ancient practice of yoga involves maintaining and improving various poses. People of all ages can do it, and it’s a great addition to almost any fitness routine.

The Spa on Green Street

At The Spa on Green Street, their method of yoga instruction is based on the principles of Hatha and Ashtanga yoga. The instructor emphasizes the alignment of the body in the various poses, which helps create a sense of flexibility and balance. They provide a variety of equipment, such as blankets, pillows, mats, and straps, to help you achieve a more balanced and healthy body. Forsyth County Fitness Classes

All levels are welcome at any of the 3 area recreation centers. Participants can enjoy yoga, Zumba, barre, and more for a small fee. Classes are available weekly for ages 14 and up.
